These are water-soluble glues that enhance the adhesion of the transfer.

Evenly coat the surface prior to applying the decal. The choice of the glues can differ depending on the product and its usage.

GW1-PRO

  • The GW1-Pro is the latest adhesive solution, designed to replace the existing Glue W1, W1+, and W2 products. It offers both heat-drying and natural-drying options for added convenience, and any residual glue marks can be easily removed after peeling off the film.
  • GW1-Pro is compatible with all film-free and metallic film-free transfer papers, making it versatile for various applications.

Glue WP

Glue that allows film residue to be easily removed with water alone

  • Glue WP is a newly developed water-based adhesive that makes it very easy to remove glue residue with plain water after peeling off the film. It works effectively on a wide range of products such as plastic, coated steels, and wood etc.
  • Its drawback is that for products like ceramics or glass, which are frequently washed, the decal paper weakens if soaked in water for a long time.

The GW1-Pro is the latest adhesive solution, designed to replace the existing Glue W1, W1+, and W2 products.

It offers both heat-drying and natural-drying options for added convenience, and any residual glue marks can be easily removed after peeling off the film.

GW1-Pro is compatible with all film-free and metallic film-free transfer papers, making it versatile for various applications.


DRYING

Choose the best drying method for your surface material. The film is removed after drying.

Heat Cure

  • Oven cure necessary for dishwasher-safe durability and adhesion. Highly recommended if your material can handle it.
  • These guidelines are based on 1-2 ceramic mugs. Your curing times may vary depending on quantity, size and heat conductivity of the material.
  • Hair Dryer: 2~3 mins minimum, start with low heat.
  • Microwave: 3~4 mins minimum, 1 object at a time.
  • Oven: 5 mins in preheated oven at around 150°C (300°F), or 10 mins at around 100°C~120°C (212°F~248°F).

Natural Dry

  • Materials that can't withstand heat cure require natural drying.
  • Dry naturally in warm weather. 25°C (77°F) or higher, for a minimum of 4 hours.
  • Optional: Dry longer to achieve better results.

OPTIONAL

For heat curing, we recommend additinal time in the oven after removing the film to maximise durability.

10~20 mins in preheated oven at 180~250°C (356~682°F) will strengthen the decal even further.

You can apply an additional Top Coat to protect the decal even further.

1. For hard surfaces like ceramics, glass, or metal, do not apply glue directly to the surface.
Instead, spread glue thinly onto the wet transfer paper surface using a brush, place it on the target surface, and use a rubber squeegee to minimize the adhesive area.

2. For porous materials like wood and plaster, apply glue on both the surface of the item and the transfer paper to increase adhesive strength.
